Knights Inn Colonial Fireside Inn

I absolutely loved my time at this hotel. I arrived super late, but the staff welcomed me and my dog like we were family. They put me on the upper floor in the back building, which is something I always ask for and rarely get. The room was enormous, tons of space, with a large bathroom that had plenty of hot water with good pressure. It was spotless clean, and had a charming fireplace in the corner. The fridge was almost a full-sized fridge with a proper freezer section which easily held and froze my ice packs. They also left an ice cube tray which was very helpful. The air conditioner was powerful and kept our room nice an cool. There is a large grassy courtyard around the hotel which is lovely for walking at night. We checked out quite late and were not charged extra. Rather, they were so kind that they helped me carry my things out to my car! They also have lovely campfire and a BBQ pit in the yard around the hotel. It was so quiet, I could not hear any traffic from the highway nearby. I would definitely stay here again!

We really liked the manager of the hotel. Super friendly and kind. Also, given that it is classified as a budget 2-star hotel, I think the room was extremely clean, the bed was very comfortable, and therefore, it was excellent value for the money. You can tell that they are putting effort and money into keeping the standards high. We've stayed in 4-star hotels that haven't come close to this friendliness, cleanliness and comfort.

We were welcomed by the nicest young man who was as helpful as could be. Our room was in an annex behind the motel you see from the highway. It was very clean and comfortable. There are outdoor areas by both the motel and the annex for relaxing or picnicking--or even grilling on the gas grills in both areas. We were close to both downtown and the road out of town. Very highly recommended.

I was traveling with my pup and booked online. When I arrived at the Inn, the gentleman at the desk notified me that he didn't have any pet friendly rooms for what I had booked. He upgraded us to a very big room with tons of space and a nice fireplace ( without discussion ). The bed was so comfy, and the pillows were heavenly! I was very impressed with the room. I would definitely recommend this location. If I am ever traveling this way, I will be sure to rebook again.

Very nice room with fireplace 2 queen beds and queen sofa bed too. Was a great price with exceptional staff. Really enjoyed the room. Nice and modern, clean and even had a full size fridge and microwave. Definitely recommend Knights Inn. Will stay here again next time we pass through.
